Country Flower Arranging with John Fromer in Hexagon

What are country flowers and how do you arrange them? When do you cut them and how do you keep an arrangement looking fresh?  What kind of flowers make the best cut flowers?  What tools do you need? Come to Merryspring Nature Center for this demonstration by John Fromer.  Fromer and his wife Kathy have grown cut flowers on their farm for 25 years. John created flower arrangements for many restaurants, caterers, inns and weddings over the years.  In this demonstration on design, he will talk about filler, thriller and spiller and how it applies to arrangements and garden design. Beyond arranging, how to condition flowers and keeping an arrangement fresh in a vase will be discussed.
