Tuesday Talks in the Hexagon – Weskeag Marsh Birds with Don Reimer

As the largest saltmarsh in Midcoastal Maine, Weskeag Marsh has hosted over 230 species of birds. Its varied habitats include prime areas of tidal marsh, upland hayfields, and mature mixed woods. These unique habitats are of immense biological and conservation value. The photo presentation will focus on breeding birds found there, and the seasonal parade of migrants that pause to rest and feed.

Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round.
