Membership & Benefits

Merryspring members receive a variety of benefits, and their membership dues are an important source of income needed to keep Merryspring running each year.

Benefits include: free admission to spring, summer and winter lecture series; discounts on classes and workshops; 10% discount on most purchases; regular e-mail notification of speakers and events; the Hawthorn e-newsletter; benefits at more than 345 reciprocating gardens nationwide (read below); a share in the stewardship.

Merryspring is open to the public every day during daylight hours, free of charge. To preserve the park and the numerous bird species, dogs are not allowed. Merryspring is conveniently located just behind Camden Hannaford at the end of Conway Rd.

American Horticulture Society Benefits

Every member of Merryspring can benefit from the American Horticulture Society’s Reciprocal Admissions Program(RAP). If you travel and enjoy visiting botanical gardens, arboreta or conservatories, the RAP includes more than 360 organizations in 45 states, plus Canada, the Cayman Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
